Karting Moments
Brock has raced Karts since he was 8 years old. His role model and mentor from this early age up to now has always been Peter Brock, and he has received some invaluable advice from him over the years.
His first major title was at the age of 10 when he won 11 major titles including National Cadet Champion. Since then he has won titles in Top Half, City of Sails, Rose City, CIK Trophy of NZ, Hamilton Anniversary, Auckland & Hamilton Club Champion titles over various classes.
In 2003 he competed at the Pukekohe 6 hour Enduro and came 5th in class with Jason Leifting. 2003 he raced a Formula Challenge in the Christmas meeting and placed 2nd in the final. 2004/2005 Season he raced a Formula 2 Midget at Western Springs with some Podium success.
Apart from his Motorsport success's he was in the New Zealand Table Tennis Team and won 2 Bronze medals at the Oceanias, and won the Schools Nationals team title 3 consecutive years.
He has pulled back from the amount of competitive Kartsport over the last 2 years due to his Auto Electrician Apprenticeship but has enjoyed competing in the 3 Way Series at Mt Wellington this year.
Brock is karting under his Speedway team, HLR Racing with team boss Geoff Harper.
